Joe Young - Guitar, Vocals and Harmonica
Joe was born in Chicago a few blocks from Comiskey Park. His mother always said "he began to kick in perfect time with any music from about three months before birth". Joe learned to play his first guitar at age five. Although he has never memorized any music or lyrics, he has composed some 17,483 pieces of music from commercial jingles to acid soundtracks to cowboy ballads. Joe plays in a duo with fellow Walrus Chuck Dingée most Fridays (unless the Walrus has a gig) at Nicki's Bella Marina in Bellingham. Joe believes there is only one kind of music, good music. He is a pilot and lives with his last wife Carol on the edge of nowhere in Bellingham, WA.
